    Tour can be customized for One Night to Four nights.
    Groups can mix and match events to fit time schedule and budget.

    There is a place in Ohio where people live in a much simpler time. There are no traffic jams, there is limited technology and family always comes first. Tour through the WORLD’S largest Amish Community and experience a simpler way of life. Spend time with a local guide who will be with group throughout your tour. Guide will explain the history of the area, the Amish community and customs throughout the day. Highlights of your tour can include:

  • Make and Take It

    Arrive at the home of Lydia Troyer who is Amish and one of the best candy makers in the country!! Guests will roll up their sleeves in the cooking kitchen and will create some of the tasty treats that they will take home with them.

  • Victorian Mansion Museum &
    Glass Museum

    Learn more about Millersburg Glass then tour the gorgeous mansion. The home is a Queen Anne style, which features 28 rooms furnished in period, showcasing Victorian decor. Don't forget to ask about the resident ghost as seen on HGTV.  

  • Wendell August Forge

    America’s oldest and largest forge, producing hand-wrought ornamental metalware and elegant giftware in aluminum and other metals since 1923.  The World's Largest Amish Buggy, made especially for Wendell August Forge is a great photo opportunity. Guests Will participate in creating their own hand  hammered picture to take home with them!  

  • Homestead Furniture

    Guests can  watch Amish workers creating the beautiful wood items they are known for.   Plus shopping ! 

  • Lehmans General Store & Old Fashioned Hardware

    Founded in 1955 you can browse and shop where the Amish shop...from unique oil lamps, cookware, butter churns, hand tools, collectibles, carving tools, hand pumps, and so much more.  Guests will marvel at one of North America's treasures.  See why people from dozens of countries come to Lehman's.

  • P. Graham Dunn Woodworking & Laser Art Gallery

    Enter a 6,000  square foot grand lobby with carved crown molding, eight foot tall plaques,  Ascending the grand staircase to the retail store guests can watch as the entire production process below.  Additionally there is a personalized laser engraving center where you have the opportunity to personalize hundreds of gift items. 

  • Walnut Creek Cheese

    Fresh made ice cream for ALL while shopping for a great selection of bulk foods smoked meats, cheese, jams and jellies, bakery items and much more. Butterchurn Kitchenwares has thousands of kitchen accessories that are both decorative and functional.

  • Hershberger Bakery &
    Farmers Market


    Here guests will be able to SAMPLE fry pies, another Amish specialty. A round of pastry is topped with a sweet, thickened fruit filling. Each round is folded in half and crimped into a broad smile. Browse the large selection of fresh local produce and take home some seasoned ripened fruits and vegetables and stock up on bakery items to take home!

  • Amish Country Theater

    For a fun evening  filled with great local talent, singing, music, comedy skits and audience participation set in a bar like atmosphere with professional lights, sound and seating.  Available on Thursday and Friday and Saturday 7:00 pm.  Matinee on Friday and Saturday as well at 3:00 pm.  

  • Dine in an Amish Home

    Dine in an Amish home and enjoy a family style feast and fellowship with the family. Guests will all  make WHOOPIE PIES to take home with them.   

  • Das Dutch Kitchen

    Lunch – Experience a slower pace, in a comfortable atmosphere while enjoying delicious home-cooked meals with recipes that have been handed down for generations. EVERYONE WILL MAKE THEIR OWN CREAM STICKS.

  • Hay Stack Experience

    Visit a different Amish home and build your own “haystack” then enjoy meal with fresh meats, cheeses, vegetables and more.  This is a local Amish treat passed down from generation to generation.  

  • Warther’s Carvings Museum

    See incredible wood carvings of walnut, ebony and ivory that the Smithsonian Institution declared "Priceless works of Art". A memorable candlelight dinner will be yours to enjoy in the Warther’s “Ivory Room.”
