    "When Amish Eyes Are Smiling"

    Enjoy a delicious traditional St. Paddy’s Day fest at the Amish Country Theater followed by a fun and NEW show entitled “When Amish Eyes are Smiling”.  Guaranteed to make you laugh through two-hours of fun musical spoofs, comedy skits, live entertainment, and awesome ventriloquist Ken (O’Malley) Groves!. The show will feature lots of hilarious audience participation. Wear your best green attire for some Amish/Irish fun!

    Visit and learn about the Amish and Mennonite history.  The Amish, Mennonites, and Irish were some of the area’s first settlers!

    Enjoy a delicious meal at one of the signature Amish homes or restaurants.  Guests will be treated to a home cooked meal made by the family.  The Amish have forsaken the modern life - no electricity, phones or cars.     Irish Potato Candy

    Make and take Irish Potato Candy at Troyer’s Homemade Candies.  Meet Lydia Troyer and learn more about the Amish family candy company.  Irish potato candy is a traditional Philadelphia confection that, despite its name, is not from Ireland, and does not usually contain potato. The candies are coconut cream inside rolled in cinnamon; reminiscent of small potatoes.
