Roll through the Green Mountains of Vermont, climb the White Mountains of New Hampshire and then it’s full steam ahead along the rocky coast of Maine.   • Adirondack Scenic Train

    Travel through remote forests, past sparkling rivers, over bridges, tranquil ponds and streams, into the magnificent beauty of the six million acre Adirondack Park. Become a witness of nature's beauty and look out for the many animals and birds along the routes.  

  • Old Forge, NY

    You'll board your motorcoach and travel a short distance to visit the charming shops and have lunch on your own in Old Forge.  

  • Travel Through Adirondack Mountains to Burlington, VT

    Travel through the Adirondack Mountains and along the shores of Lake Champlain to Burlington, Vermont. Check into your hotel for a one-night stay. Gather for an included dinner served at an historic restaurant adjacent to the hotel.

  • Morse Farm Sugarworks

    Watch how real maple sugar is made from the trees to the finished product, on a traditional Vermont maple sugar farm. You will tour the sugarhouse, sample maple syrup and visit the largest and most unique maple, crafts and mail order shop in the area. A traditional “sugar on snow party” will sweetly end your tour.

  • Squam Lake Pontoon Boat Ride

    Covering 6,791 acres, Squam is the second-largest lake located entirely in New Hampshire and is where the 1981 movie On Golden Pond was filmed. Board a canopied pontoon boat and sail off on a fascinating and picturesque 10-minute cruise and learn about the natural forces that created these lakes, the wildlife that makes them so special and the people who have enjoyed these lakes for over 1,000 years.  

  • White Mountain National Park along the Kancamagus Highway

    Well known as one of the best fall foliage-viewing areas in the country, the Kancamagus Highway is now designated an American Scenic Byway for its rich history, aesthetic beauty and culture. The Kanc takes you to an elevation of just under 3,000 feet at its highest point at Kancamagus Pass. There will be time for a photo op along the way.  

  • Conway Scenic Train

    Arrive in North Conway and have lunch on your own. After lunch, board the Conway Scenic Train. Enjoy an old-fashioned railroading experience as they journey on historic rail routes in vintage passenger cars, most of which are from the 1920’s.

  • Town of Kennebunkport

    Enjoy time to explore the charming seaside Town of Kennebunkport. Visit the shops and boutiques and have lunch on your own.  

  • Seashore Trolley Museum

    This is the oldest, and largest electric railway museum in the world. Enjoy a trolley ride on an authentically restored streetcar through the Maine countryside, aboard a streetcar for a 30-minute ride back to yesteryear.  

  • Tour a Local Cranberry Bog

    Learn about the history, harvest and commerce of cranberries and enjoy a delicious cranberry treat.  

  • Waterbury, CT

    The journey continues on to Waterbury, CT where you'll spend a night. Gather for an included dinner served at a restaurant near the hotel.  

  • Railroad Museum of New England and Naugatuck Railroad

    At the museum, learn of the region’s rich railroad heritage through the educational exhibits and operation of the Naugatuck Railroad. Enjoy the train ride and time to explore the exhibits.

    Drive by the campus of Yale University before you depart for Lancaster, PA.

    Our friend Lydia invites you into her home to enjoy a scrumptious meal prepared by her and her family. Everyone in Lydia’s family, regardless of age or size, works to prepare the most delicious food created with home grown ingredients, from the vegetables to the meat to the freshly brewed mint tea. Take home some of her homemade jams, jellies, pickles or bread to enjoy later.  

  • Amish-Paradise Train

    Climb aboard the larger-than-life steam train and enjoy a 45-minute, round-trip ride through the tranquil Amish countryside to Paradise, PA and back. Marvel at more than 1,000 acres of farm fields as they pass by your window. Free time to browse through the gift shop afterwards. (Train schedule times are only at 12pm, 1pm & 2pm)

    Located right across from the Strasburg Railroad.
